Leann Parker-Reed

I have been a resident of Murray for over thirty years. I was born in Idaho and raised in Northern Utah. I graduated from Weber High School in 1983. In 1987, I graduated with a BA degree from Weber State.

I am married to Shawn Reed. We have three children, who were raised and educated here in Murray. I taught early childhood education in the Murray district. I also spent time in the PTA including serving as co-president, secretary and as student government leader. I really appreciate the opportunities I had to serve the children of Murray and their families.
I have volunteered in the community in the Murray Youth Chamber, Murray Children's Pantry and Spartan Closet program. I have also served in the Boy Scouts of America organization and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints youth and adult organizations.

I am looking forward to serving the families of Murray in city government.
